Sleep training is like playing an endless game of whack-a-mole. As soon as you quash one issue, another pops its ugly rodent head up to annoy you.
Since Salty kept climbing out of his crib, I decided to turn their cribs into toddler beds. Apart from the occasional kerthunk “Waaaaah!!!” at night when Peppers inadvertently rolls onto the floor, they seem to like it. And by “it” I mean sleeping on anything in the room other than their beds.
Here are some pictures of the scenes that greeted me this week as I went in to load them into the car to pick up their sister from Kindergarten. I had a hard time gaining entry to the room to snap this first one. I had to push and squish quite vigorously since Peppers was blocking the door closed.
I promise that I provide very comfortable beds for these children. I really don’t know what to tell you.
As a bonus, here’s a shot I snapped at night. The night before this, I found them spooning each other on Peppers bed. I could shoot myself for not taking a picture of that unstoppable cuteness.
