As I was posting my bit for my “What Mamas Have to Say Monday” on Mamas Against Drama coming out tomorrow, I wanted to link to some Halloween pictures of Fluffy as Scarlet O’Hara in 2011. Turns out I had the best ones up on facebook, but not here! For shame.
Here is where Fluffy gets her shaking fist reference. Also from Gerald’s “I must find her!” pose in the book Should I Share My Ice Cream?
And just to remind you what happened this week:
After riding the red simulator at the National Air & Space Museum
Fluffy: “Can’t we go on the white one, too?”
Me: “No, honey. You’re not tall enough, remember? Before we went on the red one, the man said, ‘Stand under the arrow,’ and then he said, ‘She can ride the red one, but that’s it.'”
Fluffy: “Nooooooo! I want to ride the the white ones, too!” Tears streaming down her face, she turns back toward the man working the ticket line, and holds up her trembling little fist like a mini Scarlet O’Hara. “I call him…FOOLISHNESS!!”
After some comforting,
Fluffy: “I had to shake my fist at him because I’m throwing a tantrum.”
