My computer was having issues for a couple of days, and I just can’t blog from my phone. I don’t know how I’m going to blog this week and next during the packing and moving, but I think we have found enough friends to stay with to avoid hotels while we get our occupancy permit.
Please send all your good wishes that Town of Vienna will give us an occupancy permit or AT LEAST a furniture waiver so that we don’t have to pay thousands of dollars to have our things moved, stored, then moved again. GAHHHH!!
Yesterday, a kind and thoughtful friend offered to take the kids for a few hours while I packed and moved sprinklers every hour. It was amazing! I packed 12 boxes and had an intelligent conversation with the landscaper with no background whining.
The kids are really at an inconvenient age for packing. If they were older, they could help. If they were younger, they would be more out of the way. And when I say younger, I mean unfertilized eggs. From gestation to age 5 or so, they really slow you down. And don’t tell me it’s actually age 35 because I need the illusion that the pace is going to pick up at age 5 in order to keep on living. Thank you.
Packing everyone up and driving over to move sprinklers every hour has been straight up horrible. The kids are at the point where I tell them to put on their shoes and they scream “NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!” Yesterday Peppers said he hated me. I don’t blame him.
