This troop of rein-actors was really funny–unintentionally. They were over the place, and one of them had a hearing problem and had to keep asking his neighbors what order was called. It kind of reminded me of that video of Iraqi troops trying to do jumping jacks.
During their breaks, the actors went totally out of character and started loudly badmouthing their colleagues under a shade tree. Or maybe that was in character.
The boys liked watching the soldiers and enjoyed the gunfire.
And everyone in the family under the age of 30 giggled wildly at the puppet show. Everyone over 30 was appalled by the violent content of Punch and Judy. Egad!
Do I dare get myself a parasol like Fluffy’s? Which would make me look less ridiculous, the huge sunhats I normally wear or a parasol? I like the hands-free feature of the hat, but I might actually feel less conspicuous with a parasol. At least at some venues.
