I have finished the blankety-blank-blanking stenciling project in the living room!
Even though I am a seasoned stenciler (a single accent wall constitutes seasoned right?), and even though I read the stencil company’s How To tips carefully, and even though I read other online tips before I started, I still learned A LOT from the time that I began until the time I finished. By the end, I had a good system.
And I am putting all my accumulated wisdom together for you in a guide which I may finish tomorrow. It has videos. It has before and after shots. It has product tips. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll start stenciling, and then you’ll hang yourself, because spoiler alert: stenciling is evil, and it must be destroyed. But if you do it right, well, it’s worth it.
Now, I still have window treatments, wall hangings and few other things to finalize, but was I not right about the stencil in here? If you love it, please feel free to tell me how awesome it looks and how you’re so glad I went ahead and did it. If you think it’s over-the-top and not worth the effort please also feel free to tell me how amazing it looks and how I totally did the right thing investing this much time and energy into it. Thanks in advance.
