Throughout the year Fluffy and I are always spotting and pointing out things to each other as we drive around. “Cherry blossom tree!” “Azaleas!” “Pumpkins!” “Christmas lights!”
Unfortunately, not too many people decorate for Valentine’s Day, so Fluffy has started pointing out things like:
Fluffy: Christmas decorations! They still haven’t taken down their Christmas lights. How embarassing for them, right?
I did not teach her this, but I haven’t put a stop to it either because it cracks me up. By now, she’s even abbreviating. She’ll just tap the window and bark out:
Fluffy: Wreath! Embarassing!
I love it.
A couple of days ago, I heard part of this conversation, then the babysitter filled in the blanks.
Fluffy: Did you bring me a princess movie?
Babysitter: Nope. I forgot.
Fluffy: You need to put it on your to do list. There’s this thing called a to do list. You write down all the things you need to do, then you can cross them off. You need to write down, “Bring Fluffy a princess movie.”
