To remember the true meaning of Father’s Day this year, we had the Daddy Olympic Games including blind-fold bean bag toss, regular bean bag toss and balloon volleyball. The games culminated in the non-competitive event, the Cool Whip Shave. All the dads were great sports about the whole thing and even managed to keep the humor clean as they were encased in plastic bags and lathered in whipped topping.
My other contributions to the Father’s Day Festival were meat and potatoes (braised spareribs, mashed potatoes and mashed white sweet potatoes) and two kinds of homemade ice cream (super-tart passion fruit and fresh strawberry).
Fluffy’s thoughts on Dad, 2012:
My Daddy’s favorite color is “Pink. Blue and pink.” (It’s green.)
My Daddy’s favorite thing to eat is “Whipped cream. I mean soda.” (It’s ice cream or steak.)
My Daddy’s job is “make money.”
The thing I like most about Daddy is “when he downloads me games.”
My Daddy is handsome because he “looks like a prince.”
I love my Daddy because “he plays with me a lot.”
