|Salty’s first highchair date with an older woman. You can tell that boy’s got game.|
|Neither rain nor infants nor casein intolerance could keep us from Shake Shack, DC style.|
We’ve used our vacation time to provide the following public service of ranking hip burger joints in the area.
1. Bobby Flay’s Burger Palace (Dallas, crunchified)
2. Shake Shack (Used to be a primary motivator in our trips to NYC. Maybe only beaten out by Bobby’s because of the novelty.)
3. Good Stuff Eatery (Unlike the NYC transplants, Spike Mendelssohn’s place started out right here. If the burgers and fries were exactly as perfect and fresh as Todd Ethington makes them from Spike’s cookbook, this would be number one.)
4. Burger 7 (If only the food were as good as the lines are long.)
And now, time to get on the treadmill Santa brought to us.
